30 Day Challenge: Day 3

Its Day 3 of the 30 Day challenge and I will like to say THANK YOU all for standing by my blog and sending in your motivations via comment box. I will also like to congratulate myself for completing this challenge. I bet you are laughing but *insert not interested smiley here* its not about being lazy, am just mathematically convinced that am done. *big grin* or how do you explain 30 ÷ 3? oh! Sorry, its 10 and not 0 *covers face*

Day 3: A Book I Love

Yeah! I knew it. I was wondering why I allowed myself to be tempted into accepting this challenge and even accepting a list of things to write on. I mean books have found a way of popping up in my everyday life, thanks to my parents and I know you guys, especially you! Yes You! I know you're working for my father. <---- {This is an auto SUB for YOU!] *Abija shrugs*
This has always been my parents dream, they want me to love the books sotey dem no dey allow me play (now you know the reason why I live on twitter X_X). They bought my first ever book that I can remember for me and I love that book so much. In fact, Queens Premier is a book I can never forget or how would I have known how to say 'I go up. You go up. They go up. Up up we go. Am I to go up. Is he to go up? Yes I am. Yes he is'. How I wish I knew growing up was a trap but Brighter Grammar book 2 or is it book 3, the one with Ali and Simbi, that same one with 'Mr Sada is a farmer, he lives in Sapele, he grows yam, cassava, corn and plantain. Can you see his farm in the picture?' Heya! Epele you all can't see his farm but I still have the mental picture. :p Brighter Grammar Book 6 wasn't bad either, the one with Agbo and the Boys Scout. How will I forget 'The Incorruptible Judge', I acted this in school, at home and even in my dreams, the one pound flesh *sighs*. How about Macbeth, Talaribawi, Second Chance, A tale of two cities, Death in the Family, Eze goes to school, Kole the Superstar, Ade our Naughty Little Brother, My Book of Bible Stories, Songs of Praise (S.O.P), Merry Mayflower, Oliver Twist or The Man Who Attended His Own Funeral which happens to be my record breaking novel *looks away* I can't even be bothered, I was forced to read this 99 page novel but at the end, it was worth it.
I can't even pick any of those books mentioned above cos after reading them in school and cramming them for exams, I still get to read them at home, they kept stalking me everywhere I go. You see, I have always live this life of books, books and books but one book I love and can't stop loving is TinTin. If you didn't read TinTin as a kid, then you need to be a kid again cos you've been deprived :p. You don't have to cry though, go to the nearest cinema and request to see a TinTin movie or better still *in Ish yor boy Wizzy's voice* AXE google, awon TinTin, awon Snowy won badt gan. As a kid, I had a book as big, if not bigger than the ababio. That book is called 'The Adventures of TinTin'. I will save you all the stories behind this little Journalist who was always on one adventure or the other in company of his little dog, Snowy. You can visit this blog Adventures of TinTin to learn more about TinTin, you can also visit TinTin the official site and you will be surprised that am not the only one in this TinTin of a book. Did I even mention that there was a time this book 'Adventures of TinTin' was stolen from me and I had to steal it back :)
Ok, am done!

30 Day Challenge: Day 2

Day 2: Something I Feel Strongly About

No Lie! I feel 'strongly' about this topic. First of all, the grammar *sighs*, secondly I can't just seem to understand nor translate it to a meaningful sentence. Right now, I dey feel like Yakubu, like am in the middle of a lonely road heading nowhere but I just can't stop, this is just the beginning, day 2 and am already lost, I guess Yahoo News must feature this post else I will have to post a link on Hi5 or better still, shove it down Odina's barbie X_X
Hem.....In this country of ours where everything seems to be on the wrong side, there is absolutely everything to feel 'strongly' about. Is it the bad roads or the no light? How about the unemployment level? The state of our financial institutions or the low standard of living of the people? What about the lack of TT (Trending Topics) on twitter and the all time low twit-fights? Oh! Do you even know that there was a twit-fight between @Zicmilitary and @TweetOracle yesterday? Dayumm..... You've missed the twit-fight of a life time, Its was madt, see BIG BIG dissing, yepa! Ori iyami eleba o! *in Chris Tucker's voice* ain't there gonna be a Part2? but #IsThatWhyWeAreHere? Nope! We are here for this 30 Days non-stop blogging I've found myself in which I feel 'strongly' about, or what's there not to feel 'strongly' about? :| is it the fear of public places which is the beginning of wisdom for Nigerians and most especially the Northerners? Or is it the faceless Boko Haram's 'bomb and claim responsibility' strategy? :x ..... Not to even talk of those 106 unfollowers *burst into tears*.
I have said this before and I will say it again, 'I am not in anyway responsible for anything you read on this blog, be it post or comments, I owe nobody any letter of the alphabet nor musical note so make nobody dance to music wey hin no hear' (Terms and Conditions apply).
One thing I really feel 'strongly' about is that 2006 Covenant University CBS (College of Business and Social Science) week, aka Blue Week '06 tagged P.I.M.P (Promoting Intellectual and Mental Productivity) that got cancelled. *now getting emotional* Yes! We prepared well, we stabbed lectures, we had sleepless nights, the photo sessions, the mascots, the blue sprays and the videos *sighs*. The then Student Council Chairman said to us after a long meeting 'you guys want to beat CST (College of Business and Social Science) to it but do you think your college week will hold' and that was it. We took it with a pinch of salt, maybe cos we had his council members among us or maybe cos we followed due process and got all our programmes signed. The opening of the college week on Sunday was massive, we didn't stop there. On monday, we all came out for what we called the awareness carnival, the whole school was brought down, CST and CHD students joined us, the lecturers and workers were not left out, they even had their face painted. ***To save us all the details and rantings cos e still dey pain me gan, lemme fast-forward >>****
While we were all in front of the cafeteria enjoying the 'Dance-Battle' (First of its kind in CU and definitely the Last), I mean we took over the whole school, this must have gotten the authorities scared that if we can make this happen, then we can successfully organise a protest or better still a riot and the student council chairman was there to speak bad of the week *sighs* 'we' had to say good night. Yes 'we' cos our College Rep was forced to do it without us knowing. The whole college week which has just started has been cancelled, It was sad, I was confused, but 'Our opinion does not count'. After so many deliberations and Panel facing, Exhibits in the form of pictures were brought forward and the charges were laid but we were able to clear them all as we followed due process in getting approvals for all what we did and even the ones we were set to do. As minutes turned into hours and hours into days, we 'the organisers' were left with no choice, we had to stand by each other as liver had failed most people, they were scared of expulsion. The school authorities said our P.I.M.P (gotten from the Schools motto which was Promoting Mental Productivity) which we claim to mean 'Promoting Intellectual and Mental Productivity' was way far from its true meaning. They said the meaning of P.I.M.P according to their sources, for guys; it means 'Prostitute In My Palace' and for gurls, it means 'Pr!ck In My Pus*y' wow! I was shocked but what can the righteous do?
We were told that we should write out our names (we the organisers) and prepare to get our expulsion letters. We were 11 in number and we were to suffer for the whole college students. I wasn't moved, after all, I was on my right and I had done noting wrong. Some students pleaded with us that their names be included since we were representing them and the Great Izedomie said 'if they will expel you, that means they will expel the whole college student and their lecturers cos you guys were representing us' wow! That was all the assurance we needed *sighs* the long days of trials, the stabbing of lectures and the criminal kindda look that we were tagged with all of a sudden came to an end. I don tire, but that experience is still doing me strong thing *now thinking* the friends I made, enemies I discovered and the little fame. I just can't forget that week, I've got pictures, videos and even the offence *in VC's voice* ....
"Disturbing the peace of the community and performing very despicable acts that are diametrically opposing to the core values and the vision of the covenant university"

30 Day Challenge: Day 1

Day 1: 5 ways to win your heart

I welcome you all to the official lunching of my 30day Challenge. This is a challenge am not sure am up to cos its not close to any eating competition I know but 'ebi toba le ni ati n ba omo okunrin' (its where things are tough that we always meet a man or na where things hard we dey always find man). I know I've done something similar to this before, I have gone 30days without blogging *covas face* but can I blog for 30days non-stop? Though the challenge for me is not writing cos I love writing and I always write but I find it very difficult to post some articles. I love writing personal stuffs and fictions but I got discouraged when I misplaced the most precious and most valuable book of my life 'My Book of Poems' *sighs* over 200 personal poems all gone, *burst into tears* I just have this believe that the book will always find a way back home but I pray It won't get stuck in traffic, I mean make them Alaba boys and Computer Village boys no go pirate book wey I never release but how will they know am the author? *thinking*

This challenge is called a 30day challenge and considering some topics, I might have just waved it aside but @SheriphSkills said I can change topics and I will *dancing palongo*. This reminds me of how a class mate in secondary school created his own question during economics exam, he wanted to show the teacher that he's the king, so after answering the teachers questions, he wrote 'furthermore, to show that I know this subject, I will like to answer ...................' but *sighs* he failed his own question :(
Google is my friend and I've consulted him about this challenge, he said I can do it cos so many people have and in fact, there is a blog that was built based on the 30day challenge believe. He (google) said it takes 30days to turn something into an habit and I have done 30days and more without blogging but here I am. I will give google a chance, this is a project we all have to monitor, Let's see if he (google) won't fail on this one.
Now, back to our (or is it my) Five ways to win your heart.
Yeah! This is the topic for Day 1 and am not even going to change nor modify it but if you're a guy, I will like to appreciate ur reading this post up to this point, thanks a lot and remember to drop your comment below cos that's the little encouragement you can help me with that will keep me going, all other things after this are meant for the ladies.
Bye guys! You're all appreciated. See you on the comment side of this blog.
Ladies, we are alone in here so please scroll down.

I will be taking you through 5 simple ways I can win your heart *straight face*, its gonna be short and precise but it will grow wings inside you, steal your heart and keep it in mine.
These ways are more of rules than ways and if you're ready, say #Lesgo

    1) I will catch a grenade for you :|
    2) I will do the dishes while you watch football cos you're too cute to be seen doing the dishes *big grin*
    3) You don't have to worry about washing your undies, if I contribute to making it dirty, then I should be ready and not shy away from the responsibility of making it clean *wide grin*
    4) I know you're reading this and you're taking it personal but I told guys to stop reading long ago or Odina don dey show you pant abi?
    5) THE END

PS: if you want me to win your heart, let's make it into a game and see who wins but if you want to win mine, then Jesus go meet you on the 'Try Again' saga.
This post is kind of disjointed with no bearing but how do you want me to know how to win your heart?
Like they say, 'The first is always like a trail', this post is just to confirm my acceptance of this challenge and I promise to give it the best shots, so help me blogging spirit.
Many thanks to Sir Abijawara Biekun aka @SheriphSkills who brought this challenge to my notice, also to @KevinWithanL, blogging can't get any easier and to all my blog readers out there; if not for you guys *bows*

God Will Make A Way....

We all know this phrase, we have said it before and in fact, we will keep saying it.
I woke up with this on my mind and it has been on my mind every single minute. I know this message is not for everybody but if you don't need it, I will be more than happy to preach it to myself cos I need it and I believe God will surely make a way.
We all know about the story of the israelites who passed through the red sea. The red sea has no bridge but God made a way for them where there seem to be no way. I don't know what you're going through but the Lord who made a way through the red sea for the israelites will make your own way for you today in Jesus name. Its being a long time, you can't afford to give-up now.
A lot of people spend most of their time trying to survive, thereby forgetting to live. This is the plan of the enemy, they want us to be on the defensive but God wants us on the offensive. We have to stay aggressive with an aggressive spirit.
Even those who are not football lovers know that no team can presently be compared to Barcelona. Its not all about their players, Real Madrid have got better players. Its all in their tactics, they are always on the offensive, putting the pressure on the opposition, so they don't worry about being under pressure.
We have to get off the mentality that we need someone to steer us up all the time, nobody will believe in you if you don't believe in yourself. Don't worry about not having anybody, You plus God is all you're ever going to need in order to fulfil destiny. We always want to see how God works, we most times undermines Gods capabilities but remember, he made a path in the red sea, he saved Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego even when those who threw them into the fiery furnace got burnt, he's still in the business of making a way where there seems to be no way and I know that he is set to make a way for someone reading this post in Jesus name.
Giving-up is not an option, you have to tell yourself that "I won't give up". The devil uses things which we believe are useful to us to prosecute us. He will promise you the whole earth, if only you can compromise a little bit which is just what he needs to be lord over you.
Remember, Going to church doesn't make you a Christian as sitting in a garage doesn't make you a car'.
Consider how you live your life, is it defensive or offensive? The devil want us to be on the defensive trying to run away from him. He want to put the pressure on us but God wants us on the offensive, he want us to keep moving forward aggressively knowing that he is by our side.
One thing I have learnt is that if I always attack, I will never worry to be under the attack. You plus God is all you need, you don't have to worry when God is with you. Don't let the devil frighten you, God is in you and he will surely make that way into the glorious future he has in plan for you but you've got be aggressive.
May God answer your prayers and may he fulfil your heart desires in due season.

If Twitter Is A School....

iWrite, iPostLink, PageViewsHigh but NoComments. So iPackMyPosts, iLeftBlogger, iJoinWordPress but *sighs* my domain name 'www.mafaba.com' *sobs*
Though the domain is still working for the old blog, you're now officially welcome to my new home, if you've got questions, kindly drop it here _____________ or better still, sit back ----> \_____, relax and drop it in the comment box below (Y) thanks.
While I was rambling through the pieces of my old blog and trying to figure out how I can move my domain name to the new blog without investing twice the amount I got it for, I realised that I have never received lectures nor directly pay for most things I know but I have 'googled' my interests and followed them all up with youtube videos. I tried googling this out but google kept bringing back my fears, then just like Boko Haram's bomb explosion sound *pra-ka-ka-ka-kaboom* I found myself on twitter asking this question "IF TWITTER IS A SCHOOL, WHO WILL THE TEACHERS BE?" :O
I got some interesting answers which in the course of this reading, you will also get to know but first, here's a disclaimer, I am neither responsible for my own view nor the view of others but the first 50 students to get 'Verified' status will be given 1million each (Terms and Conditions apply).
Though, not really surprising, I got the first tweet from @itsUchman007 stating that @Tweetoracle will be the Principal, he later added @Cyrus_ThaVirus to his list. The second was from @TEEONAIR who tweeted that the Literature Teacher will be @Nsenile, while the Radio News and production teacher will be @Mz411. @MsJazzyfied also tweeted that the History Teacher will be @toluogunlesi and Economics Teacher will be @exschoolnerd. @shaR_Rone replied stating that @drewbaba, @mofame_, @cyrusthavrus, @omolexy and @MafabaAlaso will all be teachers in Twitter school of PostFacebook Studies,
While @temitidayo introduced us to a new teacher @ordinabarbie, who will be the bedmatics/modern begging teacher but I think Ordinabarbie will be that unserious student who knows noting but never fails (if you know what I mean).
The so called 'celebrities', those with the 'VERIFIED' accounts, will occupy the 'SENATE', while tweeps like @GbagaunDetector will double as both the gateman and an Inspector from the Federal Ministry of Education, which will be headed by @Twitter herself. @tweetOracle will definitely be the head teacher in charge of Examinations while @Exschoolnerd and @OloriSupergal will be Marketing teachers. @vivisleek and @ChyyChy_ will be Biology teachers, @KevinWithanL will definitely be the English teacher in charge of Essay Writing, @Abdulrahym will be the government teacher, @optixbaba will be the geography teacher, @princeAKAD will be the psychology teacher while @SuperKunle will be the PhobiaMatics teacher, teaching Phobias and their meanings. @Chef_Fregz will be that canteen man at the centre of the school cos Food is highly important and you know what they say about food and school, 'IF YOU EAT, YOU WILL PASS but IF YOU DON'T EAT, YOU WILL FAIL' *sighs*. @MI_Abaga will be that wicked teacher who is always after Kelly Hansome and he will be proudly supported by @Iceprincezamani and @brym_o who are Non-teaching staffs, @stayhigh2087 will be the accurate Time Keeper and without forgetting those who work behind the scene when teachers and students are asleep, @Sugar_tongued, @b_liciousJ and @adepompom will be the night watch guards.
Now, talking about twitter being a school, do you think it will be a Public or Private school? Who will your teachers be and how will the school be structured? Though if we take a look at the way the current twitter users moved there, it won't be wrong to say Twitter is more like a School of PostFacebook Studies.

Gone Too Soon: A Dedication to A Brother

'RIP Taiwo Akinmusuti' was all I saw on my BlackBerry messenger status updates but one common trend I noticed was that those using this as their bbm status happen to be products of Covenant University. I was interested in knowing who this Taiwo was and with no picture to work with, I dashed down to Facebook, I searched for the name but couldn't get a picture as he seem to have protected all his pictures. I felt he wasn't someone I know since he's not a friend of mine on facebook.
Two days later, I met a friend who told me about the death of one Taiwo and later sent me his picture. I couldn't believe my eyes, my mind went far, I tried calling his name if he would hear me, my mind flashed back to how I used to see and chat with him on Sundays, how we used to play and tease each other back then in school, how he used to tell me never to give-up nor relent in my effort in whatever I do, I can still hear him say 'Pray like you don't work towards achieving your dream and work towards it like you don't pray', I remember how he used to smile and say 'Tola Mafaiba, Tola MafaMalaria' (Tola Don't cause fever, Tola don't cause Malaria), how he used to tell me about his dreams *sighs*, I looked at my phone and wished he could call to tell me he's fine and alive. I couldn't control it, they came rolling down, I tried not to cry but I couldn't just stop the tears, a great friend is gone, a brother has left me in this wicked world. I just wish he can tap me from behind and tell me that I've been Punk'd.
There's no adjective nor qualification that will be enough to tell you how great a brother and a friend Taiwo was, He was just so amazing. Though no one is perfect, I won't be wrong to say Taiwo lived a close to perfect life that is worthy of emulation. Taiwo told me not to procrastinate, he once told me that whatever I find myself doing, I should do it with joy cos its just for awhile and may not last as long as I wish.
In Taiwo, I've learnt how to be relentless, how to go all out for whatever it is I desire, how to ignore the irrelevances that present themselves as being relevant, how not to spend time on the floor regretting past actions but how to get up, dust myself, evaluate past actions and build on them for a better outcome next time. Taiwo taught me how not to be afraid of loving someone who has little or no love for me. Taiwo was more than a 'friend' to me, he was a sibling God never gave me.
I just don't get why the good die young and I can't seem to put a reason to it but who am I to question God who knows all things.
I've read so many dedications, I've heard people talk about how they wish they had expressed their love for a loved one before his/her demise. Its so hard doing this but I pray God grants you the grace to read this post, though it might have showed through my actions, I really wish I had looked you in the eyes when I had the chance to and tell you how much of a brother you are to me, I wish I had told you how much regard I have for you. Even though you told me never to regret my actions which I don't, I just wish I had done more but one thing I desire for you now is to rest in the bosom of the Lord and I pray God gives your Parents, Kenny, family, friends, associates and all those that were around you the fortitude to bear the loss.
REST IN PEACE my brother, Taiwo Akinmusuti. You will forever live in our heart. We love you but God loves you more. Do sleep well in the bosom of the Lord, till we meet to part no more. Orun re o!

*A minute Silence*

May his soul Rest In Perfect Peace, Amen!

THE TWIT IN ME: The Dilemma of A Twit-Addict

My twit-life seems to be the most interesting and funniest part of my life, where aside making friends, ranting and getting to voice my opinion, I get to do what I love doing best.
I never knew I could be more addicted to anything more than games, I thought the FB addiction was the height until I realised that FB sucks more personal information from me than I wish to provide and makes these information available to all those around me, impersonators, my 'beefing' brothers, all those who care to know and most especially, their 3rd party, then I remembered twitter.
Before I could tweet 'Jack Robinson', I was already an addict and people (both on twitter and outside twitter) started questioning my ability to live outside twitter and they were curious to know if I ever close my eyes for once or stay off twitter for a minute.
The challenge to stay of twitter was brought up by a friend (Osi), I was to stay off twitter for a day. Thou I stayed off tweeting for 24hrs, I couldn't stay off twitter as I kept checking my TL and the time of my last tweet, I became pregnant for words I couldn't tell anyone cos it makes much sense only on twitter so I had to jot them down cos #MoneyCannotWaste.
Recently, I had to stay off twitter but my staying off was actually facilitated not by my will but by the almighty 'Naija Network' which can go for days without BIS connection, and like they say, 'if you've never seen another man's farm, you will think your father's farm is the biggest', I remember how I used to complain about 3mobile's connection which when compared to Naija's network, it will be faster than MTN, GLO, Airtel and Etisalat combined.
Even though staying off twitter gave me my life back, it also gave me the chance to talk and spend free time with the real me, I had the opportunity to feel my face and I got the needed reassurance that am still a boy, then I realised that the life I live on twitter is another me, the real me of the days in the past but do I enjoy my time off twitter?
Staying off twitter was like missing life's best events, such as an artist missing his first Grammy Award appearance, a tourist missing his flight or train to Paris, a 4 year old missing Cartoon Network's own Ben10 and like a Naija Blackberry user forgetting to charge his phone while the generator was on.
I seem not to like the real me without the 'twit-me', cos I have come to understand that we live in the e-Age, where everything we do are not redefined but e-Defined and our e-Friends are the proof we need.
During the time I was away, I kept thinking what my twit-daughters were tweeting, who my twit-gfs were flirting with, if @exschoolnerd has finally met Drake tweet-to-tweet, what article @MsJazzyfied would have written, what @KevinWithanL would have blog'd, what TT tweeps will be goin hard on, who @Sir_Scribbles is dissing, who and who are having twit-fight, what @gigachic has seen that looks like something else, how many tweeps @superkunle would have tweeted #nowffing at, if @kemmysterious would be happy am no longer clogging her TL, and what a host of others will be doing and most especially, who has taken over the duty of clogging TLs and Twit-Jail Presido from me.
After a week, I logged back on twitter only to be served with the best welcome back gift of all time, I got the gift when I checked my twitter profile and realised that am one hundred and six (106) followers short, I mean 106 people had unfollowed me :(
Now how do you expect me to end my No-Tweeting experience with happy ending? :(
Maybe I should just leave or should I stay? If I stay, I may not get those 106 lost sheep back but I will get new ones and my network will continue to expand but if I leave *sighs* my network may come crashing X_X.

Ednut, Music and Me!

Here is Tunde Ednut, the 'best Naija comedian in the UK', award winning artist, Black Entertainment Comedy Awards nominee........ Singer, the self acclaimed entertainer.

The first time I meet Ednut was on youtube through one of his comedy acts, then we became FB friends, moved on to twitter, I was privileged to be one of the very first listeners of his first single titled 'My Kindda Song', which has and is still receiving air play all over the country. Now he is set to release his 2nd song titled 'Catching Cold' in 2days time but before he does, lets talk about 'My Kindda Song'.

When Ednut released 'My kindda Song' sometimes last year, it drew mixed feelings/ reactions from fans & foes and most especially those on twitter. While some believe it is not worthy to be called a song, others believe it is the song for the moment.
The song which is more of an entertainment act approves Ednut's claim of being an entertainer with the unique blend and mimic of Wande Coal and D'Banj's voice/ style/ song but the video which I taught would be the killer, actually turned out to be the 'killer'. It portrays noting about the song but a show of.....*sighs* should I call it effizy or what? At least, we should see a DJ at one point and Ednut probably 'waiting for the DJ to play his kind of song all night' but all we could see was Ednut swimming and miming. Good Camera, Nice Concept, Good production but all to a wrong song.
So many people had their say on this and based on my sampling, those who liked the song after seeing the video were more than those who liked the song before seeing the video but as an entertainer, I taught it will be nice if we could get something more entertaining than just watching a guy flex his muscles in a pool surrounded by gurls.
Though I will give kudos to Tunde Ednut and SamKlef for a successful production, the video director needs to be more creative and be able to draw a line between an entertainment act and a 'song'.
I really don't know what to expect from 'Catching Cold' but I just hope it will be much more better than 'My Kindda Song', fingers crossed!

Till then *signing out*

May 21st; My View!

May 21st as 'rumoured' by Family Radio is said to be the day of the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ which signifies the rapture while October 21st is said to be the day that the world will come to an end. They claimed to have derived this date from the 'Biblical Calender' and they backed up their claims with verses from the bible.
In their book title 'We are almost there', they claimed that both the judgement day and the end of the world's date were revealed by the bible and according to them, Gods words were sealed and kept away from the eyes of men not until now. They backed these up by quoting Daniel 12:4 'But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased' and also Daniel 12:9 'And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end' and since it is now the time of the end, they believed that God has open up his words and he has revealed some informations to the righteous, through the biblical calender. They said 'The Lord has opened up His people’s understanding to the “Biblical calendar” found on the pages of the Bible. They also claimed that the Bible’s calendar of history is completely accurate and trustworthy'.
It is so amazing how these people have used mathematics to solve the bible and how they derived the dates of rapture and also end of the world. (For further details of the figures and calculations used to derive these dates, please follow these link http://www.mafaba.com/2011/05/may-21st-figures-and-calculations.html).

MY VIEW
As they always say, 'Once beaten, twice shy'. Bearing in mind what our teachers told us when we were kids, that 'we are the leaders of tomorrow' and since we know that its either they lied to us or tomorrow is yet to come. The question now is, Should we believe the words/ teachings coming from family radio? or are we just being like those who never believed the words of Noah and instead mocked him until the rain started and consequently wiped them off?
One thing I believe is that 'it is better to live like there is a God and later find out that there is no God than to live like there is no God and later find out that there is a God.
See you all on May 22nd; The Morning After!
