Day 21: How I Hope My Future Will Be Like

A journey of a thousand miles…. na one footstep dey start am. There's no future without a present and no present without a past but how well you can manage and integrate the present happenings with the past events will dictate how the future will turnout to be.
As a little boy, I wanted to be a Pilot. I had the dream of flying round the world, controlling the big metal bird. I also had that dream every little kid had. The dream of becoming a solider, I loved the respect that comes with the military uniform and the gun; I want people to obey me without thinking twice. I had the dream of saving lives, Yes! I nursed the dream of becoming a doctor. I wanted to be able to read how long a man can live for and how to help increase his lifespan. I also had a dream of being the best Nigerian Ambassador of my time, and then I had the dream of becoming the President.
As a teenager, I discovered JLo. I had this dream of her being mine to ride and within this dream came Alicia Keys and 'everything means nothing, if I ain't got her'. Even though I believe dreams come true for those who work while they dream, I know that no matter how hard I work towards being Alicia Keys man, its all but a dream that might never come true which I don't want to ever wake-up from.
There was a time I had the dream of becoming a graduate, then a master’s student. Now I just want to work, make money, run my company, make more money and make more fame. After all, who run the world, Gurls! Who run the Gurls, Boys! What makes the World go round, Money!
I have always lived in a world full of dreams, hopes and aspirations. I do try to strike a balance between my real world, virtual word and fantasy world and I hope the future holds noting but 'HaPpiLy EvEr AfTeR'.
